RF Engineer – New Product Introduction

Tallysman® is an Ottawa based producer of products and components for Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS). These include RF and high-performance antennas, and intelligent location based wireless infrastructure solutions for tracking systems.

Tallysman is looking for a highly motivated NPI engineer with at least a Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and a strong interest in RF. Reporting to the Director of GNSS Engineering, the job will encompass all aspects of new product introduction including Design for Manufacturing, test system development, qualification and production support for high performance L-Band antenna products. These will be comprised of Low Noise Amplifiers and advanced GNSS antennas in the 1GHz-5GHz frequency range.

It would be very advantageous for the applicant to have practical experience with RF instrumentation such as Network analyzers, and the IEEE488 instrument bus. We don’t expect experience exactly aligned with this specialized job requirements, but it will be important that the successful candidate have a strong interest in this field, be pragmatic, practical, have a can-do attitude, and excellent interpersonal skills to facilitate NPI activities across departments.

.NET/Azure Software Developer

Tallysman® is an Ottawa based producer of products and components for Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS). These include RF and high-performance antennas, and intelligent location based wireless infrastructure solutions for tracking systems.

Tallysman Wireless is looking for a highly motivated software developer with a minimum of a Bachelors’ degree and a strong interest in developing cloud based application using .NET and Azure technologies.

The successful candidate will have a strong interest in this field, be pragmatic, practical, self-sufficient,  possess strong analytical skills, be able to adapt to new technologies quickly,  have a can-do attitude, and excellent interpersonal skills.

Duties
You will be responsible for developing a new cloud based application using .NET and Azure technologies. You will be working on a small team and will be handling full stack development.

Electronics Lab Technician/Technologist – R&D Department

Tallysman® is an Ottawa based producer of products and components for Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS). These include RF and high-performance antennas, and intelligent location based wireless infrastructure solutions for tracking systems.

Reporting to the Director of GNSS Product R&D the incumbent will be responsible for the organization, maintenance, stocking of lab supplies and render assistance as required and requested by Engineering staff. Typical activities are but not limited to;
