Tallysman Wireless is looking for a highly motivated product engineer with at least a Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and a strong interest in RF. Reporting to the CTO, the job will involve test system development, characterization and production support for high performance L-Band antenna products. These will be comprised of Low Noise Amplifiers and advanced GNSS antennas in the 1GHz-5GHz frequency range. It would be very advantageous for the applicant to have practical experience with RF instrumentation such as Network analyzers, and the IEEE488 instrument bus. We don’t expect experience exactly aligned with this specialized job requirements, but it will be important that the successful candidate have a strong interest in this field, be pragmatic, practical, and have a can-do attitude to overcome the normal pesky impediments.


  • Design, plan and build automated antenna test and measurement systems that might include instruments such as spectrum analyzers and vector network analyzers in a computer controlled system
  • Document test procedures based on product specifications, with means to serialize tested devices identified by bar codes labels
  • Participate in New Product Introduction through characterization, product qualification and failure analysis
  • Work closely with antenna and RF design engineers during all stages of product development to ensure manufacture-able antenna designs
  • Define and implement production build methods, including in-line test requirements


  • Experienced and knowledgeable in RF engineering at a detailed design level
  • Knowledgeable with instrumentation including VNA’s, Oscilloscopes, Spectrum Analyzers
  • Hands-on experience measuring and characterizing RF systems, ideally including microwave antennas
  • Organized person with good organizational and documentation skills
  • Good communication skills, both written and spoken

We are looking for a talented Business Development and Marketing Manager for GNSS products, to assume responsibility for effective business development and marketing activities for GNSS antennas on a sector by sector basis. Reporting to the CEO, this position will be responsible for corporate and product promotion, sale channel development, competitive research and product formulation guidance. The incumbent will work closely with Sales Staff for promotional activities such as advertising, tradeshow management, pricing, lead generation, and other activities as may be required to build sales and profitability.

The incumbent should be comfortable engaging with senior staff of customer and collaborator companies and might expect relatively frequent travel for customer visits and participation in trade shows.

Along with good business sense, your ability to understand key product capabilities and competitive differentiation will be important contributors to successful execution. Strong interpersonal skills are a requirement but, above all, we are looking for a creative entrepreneurial person who will thrive as we realize the market potential for Tallysman’s GNSS antenna products.

Become well versed in the GNSS Marketplace including Vertical Market Opportunities, Competitive Threats and Unique Value Propositions

  • Develop and deliver upon a Marketing Plan for GNSS that includes:
  • Research and Determination of Vertical Market opportunities
  • Creation of effective Marketing collateral utilizing the media best suited
  • Strong industry engagement via events, trade publications and other means
  • Manage events, working closely with sales and the product team to ensure the goals are achieved
  • Develop customer interactions/relationships to facilitate new sales and development of new business opportunities
  • Provide guidance and input regarding new product developments needed to ensure strong growth of the business


  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent, ideally with knowledge of the GNSS marketplace and/or an ability to capture key technical aspects of the GNSS business
  • 3-5 years experience in a Marketing leadership capacity would be an asset
  • Must have a valid passport and be available to travel.
  • Ability to present a professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Solid interpersonal skills with a wide range of technical staff and managers in customer environments
  • Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills

Responsible to the Production Floor Lead Hand, the candidate requires the following skill set:

  • Previous electronic assembly experience
  • Experience with fine soldering, stripping coax, wires, and RF Connector Assembly
  • Electronic Assembly Certificate or IPC certification preferred
  • Requires good manual dexterity for working with small components and mechanical parts
  • Good communication skills, both written and spoken and work well in a team environment
