Production Team – Assembler 

Our Production Team is growing. We’re currently searching for an assembler with excellent SMT soldering skills. Working as a member of the Manufacturing Production group, in this role you’ll be responsible for eletro-mechanical assembly processes involved in the manufacture of Tallysman products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate tools such as soldering irons, pliers, power screwdrivers, dispensers, ultrasonic welders, to produce electro-mechanical assemblies according to drawings.
  • Perform work safely and efficiency, under the direction of the Production Floor Manager and in accordance with standard operating procedures.
  • Provide general production assistance as required, including lifting and packing product.

Key Qualifications:

  • Solid experience assembling SMT components within an ESD-controlled assembly environment.
  • Skilled in the use of SMT assembly tools.
  • Highly skilled in soldering.
  • Ability to read, understand and follow documented procedures.
  • Strong Health & Safety awareness.
  • Organized and efficient; able to fit seamlessly into a fast-paced production operation.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Collaborative and well-suited to a small company environment.
  • Able to lift normal consumable supplies associated with the processes.
  • Excellent visual acuity and manual dexterity.
