TW200 Telematics

The Sprite™ TW200 extends the physical I/O capabilities of MOTOTRBO systems, provides fully featured telematics and also brings high rate reporting to MOTOTRBO Connect+ radio systems. The external TW200 SPRITE interfaces to MOTOTRBO radio via the MAP connector thereby eliminating the requirement for the MOTOTRBO General Purpose Option Board.

Firmware within the Tallysman TW200 Sprite provides reporting rates previously only available with cellular solutions and greatly extends the GPS capabilities of the MOTOTRBO radios. Together with the Tallysman Trufleet™ server, the TW200 Tallysman Sprite provides event driven reports such as waypoints, speeding, turn-by-turn reports, cumulative odometer reports and more.

The TW200 Tallysman Sprite achieves reporting rates as fast as 5 seconds by batching up to 125 compressed location reports and events in a single MOTOTRBO message which can be sent as slowly as every 15 minutes. This saves airtime and provides unequalled location accuracy; particularly important when auditing vehicle locations and for applications such as International Fuel Tax reports (IFTA Reports) etc..

FEATURES:

  • Store and forward (bundled) reports
  • Over air record retrieval …. no lost reports
  • 125 X Data throughput
  • Support Telemetry I/O on all networks
  • Event Driven Reporting (turns, stop reports etc.)
  • 2 serial ports (RS232) for peripheral devices

The Sprite™ TW200 features:

  • 2 serial COM ports to connect to peripheral devices
  • Three general purpose inputs for monitoring events such as door opening and closing.
  • Status LED to indicate power and data connection to the radio.
  • USB port for connection to MOTOTRBO radio MAP port

The TW200 can be configured to report on the following events:

  • Store and Forward (bundled reporting) including breadcrumbs
  • Periodic reports for “moving” or “stopped” vehicle states
  • Report on change of state i.e. “moving” and “stopped”
  • Distance traveled reports
  • Vehicle turn reports
  • Odometer (running odometer count)
  • Vehicle idle time (accumulated time of vehicle stopped while ignition-ON)
  • Over speed report
  • Waypoints (report on entry and exit of geographic location)
  • I/O Changes (e.g. Bus STOP Door Open/Door Closed)
