Tallysman Wireless is looking for a mature individual to act as Director of Sales and Marketing for its RF and Antenna products. It is a cliché, but the right person must be a self starter with initiative, imagination and good interpersonal skills. This is not an in-depth technical position but experience with RF products would be very helpful in understanding the Company’s products.

Tallysman’s RF Product line includes an extensive range of leading edge products for the Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) market, including GPS antenna-receivers for timing and vehicle location applications, high performance antennas for GPS, GLONASS (Russian GNSS), plus Globalstar and Iridium Satcom systems. We also produce supporting products such as RF combiners and splitters, broadband inline and Bias Ts.

The Company also produces hardware and software products for GPS Tracking Systems for mobile radio applications.

The duties will be to manage and develop global distribution channels, and to manage advertizing, new product announcements etc., creation of marketing collateral, and all activities related to “getting our message out”. This will require participation in all sales activities and direct support for our various sales channels. This will involve steering customers toward appropriate Tallysman products and front-line customer assistance. Tallysman engineering staff will provide in-depth RF support back-up when required.

This position may require relatively frequent travel to support distributors on customer visits, to sell and support existing products, and to gain market intelligence to guide future product development.

The duties will also include continuous improvement and development of the Company’s web site, and depending on the candidate, may include sales support and web development for the Company’s GPS systems product line.

The ideal candidate has a strong sales background, and a track record of success in a technology field. The Director Sales and Marketing of RF products, will report directly to the President.
